On the evening of August 26, the Pinglu Canal completed a real-ship trial before opening. The trial went smoothly. It checked whether the canal’s ship locks, waterway facilities, and navigation control system worked safely together.
The Madao, Qishi, and Qingnian hubs also finished joint tests with water. This work prepares the canal for future navigation.
