S&P Affirms China’s A+ Sovereign Rating, Stable Outlook

On Aug. 28, S&P Global Ratings, an international credit-rating agency, kept China’s sovereign credit rating at A+. It also kept the outlook stable. China’s Ministry of Finance said the decision showed confidence in China’s economy, public finances, and ability to control risks. This means the agency expects the rating to stay the same for now.
