China and New Zealand held their seventh climate change ministerial dialogue. Huang Runqiu, China’s minister of ecology and environment, visited New Zealand from August 28 to 29. He met New Zealand’s climate change minister. The two sides agreed to work more closely on carbon markets, climate adaptation, methane control, and electric vehicles. They also agreed to create a department-level dialogue mechanism.
