A new international science plan has started. China launched the plan with partners from several countries. It will place small satellites in space around Earth and the Moon. The first plan calls for about 30 CubeSats. They may all be deployed around 2030.
The satellites will watch space weather and gamma-ray bursts. Scientists will share the data. The project may help future Moon missions and give developing countries a chance to join space research.
