On September 5, landslides hit Suichuan County in Jiangxi Province. Mud fell again in Mingkeng Village that night. The new slide made rescue work harder. By 4 p.m. on September 6, workers had built 100 meters of road and removed more than 20,000 cubic meters of mud and other material.
Four people have died in the disasters. Nine people are still missing in Mingkeng Village, and one person is missing in Zuo’an Town. Rescue teams continue to search without stopping.
